We went to the zoo, zoo ,zoo

Went with my 4 year old niece Ella and her
mom (my sister)  to the zoo.

Ella and Mama in the Butterfly house

In the snake house which she wanted to see!
and kept asking to go to. Why I don't know.

Ella and I riding the Carousel

A fun and exhausting day.  I don't have kids and I'm not used to traveling with a four year old, wagon, lunch, juice boxes, and  hand wipes. The most I have to carry is a purse.  LOL!

Week off...

I was getting pretty burnt out so I took this week off work.  Just to do fun stuff I like and to not RUSH.  I have not been paying attention to the clock.  Which is a nice treat.  Normally I feel like I'm rushing from one thing to another and it makes me crazy.  I know....do less, but so much to do....so little time.

This is one of the fun things I completed this week.

This is Pepper she was a lovable companion to a couple for 30 yrs. This is the picture I used for reference.

I can only hope I captured her spirit for her owners that miss her so much.

March weather was hot

and April temps  in Michigan dropped back to normal cold temps after all the trees started flowering.
This week we are warming up finally
and not freezing at night.

Murphy went out to the green house with me to pick Bunny greens for their evening dinner.

Hopefully after Mid May I can plant some of these outside.

I tried several times starting Peppers from seeds
and didn't have much luck so I will be buying those
along with my flowers at the plant nurseries

On days where the weather reports there will be sunshine I have to go out before work and open the vents as it will surely hit 90+ degrees inside with the sun shining even if it's only 50 outside.  Then after work
I have to water my seedlings that have dried up with the
warm sunshine.
